Newton wowed scouts yesterday in a passing workout, showing good arm strength and accuracy, just needing to show the ability to take a snap from center. Mel Kiper thinks that if he can improve his intangibles, Newton could be a top 5 pick. Regardless, it is felt that the quarterback working out with Warren Moon will be a top 12 pick in April.
